Summary
Malik transmits from Rabia ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Hibban, from Ibn Muhayriz, that he entered the mosque and saw Abu Said al-Khudri (may God be pleased with him), and asked him about coitus interruptus. Abu Said said they went out with the Messenger on the expedition of Banu al-Mustaliq and took captives from among the Arabs. They desired women, celibacy weighed on them, and they wished for ransom, so they wanted to withdraw. Then they asked the Prophet ﷺ, who said: there is no harm in your not doing it, for every soul that will exist until the Day of Resurrection will exist. The editor notes that al-Bukhari and Muslim transmitted the report through al-Zuhri from Abdullah ibn Muhayriz. 1
