Summary

Malik transmits from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say that when a man gives his wife authority over her affair, the outcome is what she decides. If he denies it and says he meant only one divorce, he swears to that, and he has the stronger claim to her while she is in her waiting period. 1
