Summary
A settled matter among us, according to Malik: if a Muslim releases a Magian's fierce trained dog and it hunts or kills, that game is lawful to eat, and there is no harm, even though the Muslim did not slaughter it. This is like a Muslim who slaughters with a Magian's blade, or shoots with a Magian's bow or arrow and kills, so the game and the slaughtered animal are lawful. If a Magian releases a Muslim's fierce dog on game and it takes it, it is not eaten unless it is slaughtered. 1
