Summary

A saying of Malik in the chapter on the takbir and recitation in the festival prayers: whoever finds the people have finished the festival prayer when he arrives does not need to pray in the prayer ground or at home; if he prays there or at home there is no harm; and he says seven takbirs in the first rak'a before the recitation and five in the second before the recitation. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. 1
