Summary
A ruling of Malik in the chapter on the end of menstruation: he was asked whether a woman who has become pure but cannot find water must perform dry ablution. He said yes, she must perform dry ablution, since her case is like that of one in sexual impurity who finds no water. The editor notes that Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Abi Shayba transmitted similar from Ata, and something like it from al-Hasan, and that al-Bayhaqi has raised reports on the subject. 1 2
