Summary

A ruling of Malik in the chapter on dry ablution: he was asked about a man who performed dry ablution for a prayer that came, and then another prayer came; must he perform dry ablution again or is the first enough? He said he must perform it for each prayer, because he must seek water for each prayer, and whoever seeks it and does not find it performs dry ablution. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1 2
