Overview

Mihran is the great river of the Sind and the land around it. Al-Baladhuri relates that Muhammad ibn al-Qasim halted in its midst, while Dahir prepared himself for battle against him. Muhammad devised a way to cross the Mahwan by a bridge he built, and Dahir was killed at evening. 1
