Overview

Kirman is a province. In the account of al-Baladhuri, Yazdegerd fled to it after Istakhr. Mujashi ibn Mas'ud alighted at Bayamand in Kirman, and his army was struck by plague and perished. The marzban of the province came to Yazdegerd, and he did not speak to him out of pride, and ordered his leg dragged; then Yazdegerd went on to Sistan. 1 See Mujashi ibn Mas'ud.
