The Baghdad grammarian Jamal al-Din Abu Muhammad al-Husayn ibn Badr ibn Iyaz, who taught at the Mustansiriya madrasa and wrote on grammar and morphology, including 'al-Mahsul fi Sharh al-Fusul' and 'Qawa'id al-Mutarahah'.

Jamal al-Din Abu Muhammad al-Husayn ibn Badr ibn Iyaz al-Baghdadi, one of the grammarians of Baghdad. He died in 681 AH. 1

Teaching and works

He taught at the Mustansiriyya madrasa and wrote on grammar and morphology. His books include al-Mahsul fi Sharh al-Fusul (The Harvest: A Commentary on the Chapters) and Qawa'id al-Mutarahah (Rules of Debate). 1
