Overview
Harish, a man of the army of the frontier in Tunisia. Al-Baladhuri reports in "The Conquests of the Lands" that he gathered a host against al-Aghlab ibn Salim, the governor of Musa al-Hadi, and besieged him in Kairouan. 1
The end of the siege
Al-Aghlab was struck by an arrow and died, and Harish and his army were routed. Al-Aghlab's men pursued them for three days and killed them, and they killed Harish at a place known as the Sunday Market. The museum's data notes that the original also has "Nafid" and "Khurayish", so the correct form of the name needs an additional source. 1
He took part in the killing of al-Aghlab as the defeated besieger who was killed.
