Overview
Abu Sahl Muhammad ibn Sulayman ibn Harun al-Su'luki al-Hanafi, of the Banu Hanifa, and a companion of Abu Ishaq al-Marwazi. 2
His learning and students
Al-Shirazi describes him as a jurist, man of letters, poet, theologian, commentator, Sufi and writer. His son Abu al-Tayyib and the jurists of Nishapur took from him. 2
Death
Al-Shirazi says he died at the end of the year 369 AH. The date is disputed, and the editor's note points to differences between the manuscripts, so it is recorded with low confidence. A second source is needed. 2
