Summary
Yahya said: I heard Malik say: the best that was heard about one who owes two consecutive months of fasting for accidental killing or for zihar, and who is struck by an illness that overwhelms him and interrupts his fast: if he recovers from his illness and is strong enough to fast, he may not delay it; he continues building on what he has already fasted. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik (813). 1
