Summary
Malik transmits from a trusted narrator, from Yaqub ibn Abdallah ibn al-Ashajj, from Busr ibn Said, from Saad ibn Abi Waqqas, from Khawla bint Hakim, that the Prophet ﷺ said: whoever stops at a place should say: I seek refuge in the perfect words of God from the evil of what He created, for nothing will harm him until he sets off. The editor notes Ibn Abd al-Barr's view that Yahya narrated with the wording 'from a trusted narrator with him', while al-Qa'nabi, Ibn Bukayr, Ibn al-Qasim and Ibn Wahb narrated 'it reached him from Yaqub', with the same meaning. 1
