Summary
Malik transmits from Said al-Maqburi, from Abu Shurayh al-Kabi, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him speak good or be silent; whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honour his neighbour; whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honour his guest. His reward is a day and a night, and hospitality is three days; whatever is beyond that is charity; and it is not lawful for him to stay with a host until he makes him uncomfortable. 1
