Summary
Malik transmits from Rabiah ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman, from Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him), that he heard him say: the Messenger of God ﷺ was neither tall and lanky nor short; neither pale-white nor dark-complexioned; neither curly-haired nor straight-haired. God sent him at forty years of age; he stayed in Mecca ten years and in Medina ten years, and God took him at sixty; and there were not twenty white hairs in his head or beard. The editor notes that 'at sixty' is an odd (shadh) report; what is preserved is that he died at sixty-three, and al-Bukhari said this is more sound to him than the hadith of Rabiah. 1
