Summary
Malik said: the matter on which there is no dispute among us is that when a slave is killed, his value on the day he is killed is owed. The kin of his killer bear none of the slave's value, little or much, but it falls on the one who did the act, from his property alone, however much it is, because the slave is a commodity like other goods. 1
