Summary
Malik said: whoever is killed accidentally, his blood-money is property, with no retaliation, and it is like his other property; his debts are paid from it and his bequest is carried out from it. If he has property such that the blood-money is up to a third, and then the blood-money is remitted, that is lawful for him. If he has no property except his blood-money, he may remit from that third if it is remitted and bequeathed. 1
