Summary
Malik says of a man who weighs with another, gives him fine gold coins, adds gold dust in a poor form, and takes from his partner Kufic dinars, which people dislike; they sell it equal for equal: that is not proper. The explanation of the disliked: the owner of the fine gold took the surplus of the fine gold coins in the dust he added to his gold, and if it were not for the excess of his gold over his partner's, the partner would not have weighed his dust against his Kufic gold. 1
