Summary
Malik says of a slave who divorces his slave-woman with a divorce that is not final, while he retains a right of return, and then dies while she is in her divorce waiting period: she observes the slave-woman's waiting period for a dead husband, two months and five nights. If she is freed, and he retains a right of return, and then after her release she chooses separation from him, and he dies while she is in her waiting period from his divorce, she observes the free woman's waiting period for a dead husband, four months and ten days, because the death waiting period fell upon her only after she was freed. 1
