Summary
Malik transmits that it reached him that Urwa ibn al-Zubayr used to say of the child of a mutual curse and of the child of adultery: when such a child dies, his mother inherits her share under God's book, and his maternal brothers receive their shares. The rest goes to the mother's clients if she was a freed woman. If she was Arab, she inherits her share, and his maternal brothers inherit theirs, and what remains goes to the Muslims. 1
