Summary
Malik says of a man who makes ila against his wife, is stopped, divorces her, and takes her back without touching her, so that four months pass before her waiting period ends: he is not stopped and no divorce falls. If he has intercourse with her before her waiting period ends, he has the better claim on her. If her waiting period ends before he has intercourse, he has no claim on her. Malik said this is the best of what he has heard. 1
