Summary

A report from Malik that he was told Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas was asked about a trained dog that killed game, and said: eat, even if only one of its bites is left. The editor notes that al-Bayhaqi mentioned Malik transmitted it as a broken report, then transmitted it with a connected chain through Shu'ba and Sufyan, which he also called a mursal. 1
