Summary
The long hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may God be pleased with him) describing the Farewell Pilgrimage, from the talbiya to the throwing and the sacrifice. It is the most firmly established Prophetic document on the rites of the pilgrimage. It includes the sermon of Arafat: the forbidding of blood and property, the abolition of pre-Islamic usury, beginning with the usury of al-Abbas, and of pre-Islamic blood, beginning with the blood of Ibn Rabi'a ibn al-Harith. 1
