Ibn Baz website (binbaz.org.sa)

The Ibn Baz website gathers the scholarly legacy and da'wa of Shaykh Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz, as a single reference for his fatwas and his answers to people's questions and to Muslim causes. ¹

Its earliest capture in the Internet Archive is dated 27 November 1999, months after the shaykh's death. There the site calls itself his only official site, approved by him in writing before his death, names his son Ahmad ibn Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz as its general supervisor and al-Alamiyya Internet and Communications as its designer, with a copyright line of 1420 AH / 1999. ²

The site is today a project of the Zad Group, owned by Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid, who also runs IslamQA. ¹ The museum holds a number of its fatwas in the Fatwa Explorer, attributed to the site. ³ It has an article in the Arabic Wikipedia. ⁴
