Overview
Masabadhan is a region in al-Jibal. Al-Baladhuri relates that its people did not fight Abu Musa, and that the people of al-Sirawan made peace with him on the same terms as the peace of al-Dinawar. He sent out raiding parties and prevailed over its land. Some narrators say he conquered it before Nihawand. 1
It contained the palace of Kathir ibn Shihab and the estates of Zahra ibn al-Harith, and the Khasharima settled there at the end of the Umayyad period. 1
