    In Sifat al-Safwa

Through Abu al-Muwarriq he reports from someone who heard her in Mecca praying: O Master of creation, the long road has brought me; this is the station of one who seeks refuge in Your pardon from Your displeasure — and asking Him to delight her eye with His good pleasure. 1 The narrator saw her at the standing at Arafa saying that her sins weighed on her and that she would never enjoy laughter until she knew her final abode and where her dwelling would be; when the people departed she laid her cheek down, cried out, and said she had not let despair of Him touch her heart. 1 The editor notes that Kahhala took her from this book into A'lam al-Nisa'. 1
