Overview

Al-Hakam ibn Mas'ud, brother of Abu Ubayd ibn Mas'ud al-Thaqafi. Al-Baladhuri says that he took up the banner at the Battle of the Bridge after his brother was killed, and was himself killed. 1

The museum's data date his death to about the month of Sha'ban 13 AH, an approximation that needs an additional source.
