Overview

Al-Fa'iz bi-Nasr Allah Isa ibn al-Zafir, the thirteenth of the rulers of the Ubaydid state in al-Suyuti's count. 2

His reign

They installed him after his father al-Zafir in 549 AH, when he was a small boy, and the authority of the Egyptians weakened. 2

He died at the start of the caliphate of al-Mustanjid, and after him came al-Adid li-Din Allah, the last of the Banu Ubayd caliphs. 3

The terms "Ubaydid" and "Banu Ubayd" are al-Suyuti's, and are not the museum's own naming. The exact Hijri dating of his accession and death needs an additional source.
