Overview

A foreigner who came to Egypt, whom al-Suyuti mentions in the account of the ending of the Fatimid khutba. 1

The khutba

When he saw Saladin and his amirs reluctant to end the Fatimid khutba, he said: "I will begin it." He mounted the pulpit before the preacher on the first Friday of Muharram 567 AH, and invoked blessings on al-Mustadi, and no one objected. 1

His name is not recorded in the data, which needs an additional source.
