Overview

A man named Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr al-Asadi, whom the sources mention in a single report: he went out in panic when al-Hajjaj killed Umayr ibn Dabi' of the force of al-Muhallab. 1

A man of his people called Ibrahim met him and told him of the killing of Umayr, and recited a verse to the effect that al-Hajjaj would never sheathe his sword as long as time lasted. 1

This is not Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, the son of al-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (may God be pleased with him); the link between the two names may need an additional source.
