Overview

Abd al-Aziz ibn Abdallah ibn Amir was made governor of Sistan by al-Harith ibn Abdallah ibn Abi Rabi'a al-Makhzumi, known as al-Qaba', in the days of Ibn al-Zubayr. He entered Zaranj and fought Ratbil, and Abu Afra' Umayr al-Mazini was killed. 1

Then he took what was in the treasury and withdrew on the advice of Abdallah ibn Nashira. Ibn Nashira entered Zaranj, and Wakī' ibn Abi Sud sent Abd al-Aziz back to Medina and expelled Ibn Nashira. Abd al-Aziz fought him, but his horse stumbled and he was killed. 1

The account in the data is brief. Who was killed and whose horse stumbled needs to be checked against the text.
