Summary
Malik says the practice among us is that when a man divorces his wife with a right of return, she observes part of her waiting period, he takes her back, and then he divorces her before touching her: she does not build on the waiting period already passed, and she starts a new waiting period from the day of the divorce. Her husband has wronged himself and erred, if he took her back when he had no need of her. 1
