Summary
Malik says of a man who commits adultery with a woman and is punished: he may marry her daughter, and his son may marry her, because his intercourse with her was unlawful. What God forbade is intercourse lawfully made by marriage, or by doubtful grounds. He cited the Qur'anic passage on women whom fathers have married. 1
