Summary
A saying of Malik about a man who divorces his wife before consummating, when she is a virgin, and her father pardons half the dowry. This is permitted to her husband from her father in what he remits, because God says "unless they pardon", which refers to women who have been consummated, or the one who holds the knot of marriage, which is the father of a virgin daughter and the master of his slave-woman. 1
