Summary
A saying of Malik about a man who marries off his young son with no property: the dowry is the father's if the boy at the time of marriage had no property. If the boy has property, the dowry is charged to his property, unless the father specifies that the dowry is his. That marriage binds the son if he is young and under his father's guardianship. 1
