Summary

"Timurtaş Camii stands in Devoğlu Sokağı, the Street of the Giant's Son, across from Samanveren Camii, and is very like it: built over a vaulted ground floor, of the same brick and stone construction, with a large wooden porch." 1

'Its minaret is unusual: instead of a balcony it is entirely enclosed, with four small grilled openings near the top through which the müezzin calls to prayer. It is thought Samanveren Camii originally had the same type of minaret, making them almost twin mosques; the exact date of neither is known, but both belong to the age of Fatih.' 2
