Al-Maqrizi says that the Qaraqanshiyya madrasa and the Khanqah of Rukn al-Din Baybars were both part of the Dar al-Wizara, and that the lands beside the khanqah extended to Bab al-Jawaniyya 1.
He also says that the house of Amir Qazman and the house of the vizier Sanqur al-A'sar stood beside the khanqah 1.
