Summary
Sulaiman Moola is a South African Islamic scholar and lecturer. He memorised the Qur'an at fourteen and then studied the sacred sciences for seven years — Arabic and its related sciences, tafsir, hadith, aqidah and fiqh — receiving ijazahs from senior scholars of South Africa and the Indian subcontinent, before teaching at Dar al-Uloom Zakariyya in Lenasia. 1 He frequently addresses Islamic topics on the radio and in Friday sermons across South Africa, has travelled widely for dawah and teaching, and is a senior advisor and teacher at Mathabah. 1

Positions and faith
Read this section as the report of the sources, not as a museum ruling.
His official biography and the Miftaah Institute profile — the same biographical text, one source family — state that during his seven years of study he studied fiqh "[specializing in the Hanafi School]". 2 1 A specialisation taken during one's formation under one's teachers is the curriculum he was trained in, not a source naming his own school, and no other source names one. His faith is therefore recorded as unknown.
