Summary
Subboor Ahmad is a British dawah speaker and writer, and the chief executive officer of iERA, the Islamic Education and Research Academy: he signs the charity's trustees' annual report for 2024-2025 in that office. 1
Debates and writing
He made his name in public debates at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, London, and in talks on the existence of God and the philosophy of evolution. A Hampshire College academic profile records that he attended City University London for an engineering degree, was pursuing a postgraduate degree in philosophy of science, specialised in God's existence and Darwinian evolution, and managed iERA's publishing company One Reason. 2 A February 2026 podcast biography records a master's degree in philosophy from Birkbeck, University of London, and describes his debating, writing and podcasting on philosophy, atheism and evolutionary biology, travelling globally to teach Muslims how to articulate Islam. 3 His own YouTube channel carries his Speakers' Corner debates and evolution talks. 4
Positions and faith
This section should be read as a presentation of what the sources give, not as a verdict of the museum.
None of the sources consulted names a legal school or theological affiliation for him personally, and his leadership of a dawah organisation is not an attestation, so no faith value is recorded for him. 2 3
