Shahd Batal is a Sudanese-American content creator based in Los Angeles. She is known for modest fashion, beauty and lifestyle content, and for merging her modest styling with sneaker culture. ^{1 2}

She began on YouTube making natural-hair tutorials. Around 2016 she decided to start wearing hijab — a choice she has described as turning back to her religion during a difficult period — and reworked her channel around skincare, makeup and lifestyle content. She got into sneakers in her senior year of high school in 2014 and rebuilt her collection after adopting hijab, reasoning that streetwear is inherently modest; by 2021 her collection stood at around fifty pairs. Her channel continues with fashion, beauty and Ramadan lifestyle vlogs. ^{1 3}
