From Sheikh Omar Abdelkafy's lecture series Al Dinu Al Qayem
Sheikh Omar Abdelkafy names Sahl ibn Abdullah al-Tustari and reports that four principles made him watchful before God 3.
Among Sahl's sayings as the speaker gives them: work for God in proportion to your need of Him, work for this world in proportion to your stay in it, work for the Hereafter in proportion to your remaining in it, and work for the Fire in proportion to your endurance of it 4.
Sheikh Omar Abdelkafy holds, as his own opinion, that a believer who prays at night and makes supplication is answered by God, and he names Sahl ibn Abdullah in this context (needs_source) 5.
