I'timad al-Rumaykiyya, a slave-girl of al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad and mother of his children, according to al-Maqqari. The data describe her as "the so-called Rumaykiyya", meaning that the identification is not settled ².

al-Maqqari relates from al-Musahhab and al-Maghrib that al-Mu'tamid rode the river with his vizier Ibn Ammar, and the wind had stirred the water. He asked Ibn Ammar to complete a half-line of verse, but he was slow to answer, and a washerwoman answered. al-Mu'tamid was pleased with what she produced, asked about her, and then married her ².

It is reported that when al-Mu'tamid was deposed and imprisoned at Aghmat, she addressed him in words that showed how hard their condition had become ².
