Summary
Rodtang Jitmuangnon is a Thai Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer, born Tinnakorn Srisawat on 23 July 1997 at Pa Phayom, Phatthalung province, Thailand. Known as "The Iron Man" and "The Tank", he held the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship for the longest reign in its history and compiled a record of 274 wins against 44 losses and 10 draws; he is one of the highest-paid Muay Thai fighters in the world. 1 2
Beginnings and first titles
Rodtang began training in Muay Thai at the age of seven and fought his first bouts at eight to help his family; at fourteen he moved to Bangkok to join the Jitmuangnon gym, whose name he carries. He won his first title on 2 January 2016, the MAX Muay Thai 125 lb championship, then the Omnoi Stadium 130 lb title on 29 July 2017, which he defended. 1
ONE Championship
In August 2019 Rodtang took the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship, and his reign became the longest in the title's history, with five successful defences. On 26 March 2022 he fought former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson in a special-rules bout at ONE X, losing by rear-naked choke in the second round. In his sixth defence, on 9 November 2024, he missed weight by half a pound and was stripped of the title, though he won the fight itself against Jacob Smith by unanimous decision. In March 2025 he knocked out Japan's Takeru Segawa in the first round at ONE 172. 1
Outside the ring
On 7 June 2025 Rodtang received an honorary Master of Education in Physical Education and Sports Management from Thaksin University, and in July 2025 he signed a two-year professional football contract with Phichit United, a Thai League 3 club. 1
Personal life
In February 2023 Rodtang married the fighter Aida Looksaikongdin. The English article, citing a single South China Morning Post report, says he was briefly ordained as a Buddhist monk about a month before the wedding and shortly after it announced he had converted to Islam, his wife's religion; this record's faith entry sets out in detail what each source gives and why no school is recorded for him. 1 3
