    Teaching and offices

A speaker profile records more than thirty years of teaching and leadership: he is a member of the Canadian Council of Imams, serves as Director of Religious Affairs at ICNA Canada, has taught with AlMaghrib Institute, and has lectured in the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, Malaysia and South Africa. The same profile dates his degree in Islamic Sharia'a and Arabic literature from Abdullah University, Casablanca, to 1987, and his Golden Gate University degrees to 1994 and 1996. 2 The Muslim Central biography adds that he studied Aqeedah under Waleed Basyouni and Fiqh under Waleed Idrees. 1 His recorded lectures circulate as a Muslim Central podcast running since 2012. 1

    Positions and faith

This section should be read as a presentation of what the sources give, not as a verdict of the museum.

Neither consulted profile names a legal school or theological affiliation for him personally. The teachers he studied under are named, and the organisations he serves are named, but a teacher's school and an institution's character are not attestation for the man himself, so no faith value is recorded for him. 1 2
