Summary
Muhammad Salah is an Egyptian scholar and television presenter — not the footballer of a similar name. He is the religious supervisor of Huda TV and the presenter of Ask Huda, one of the best-known live fatwa programmes on the channel, as well as Correct Your Recitation and Gardens of the Pious. 1 2
Studies and work
Salah holds a PhD in Comparative Fiqh, an MBA in Islamic Studies from Cloverdale College in the United States, a BA in Shari'ah and Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University in Egypt and a BA in pharmacology, besides a diploma in Muslim arts and Arabic calligraphy and a pre-master diploma in Islamic studies. 1 2 He led the Islamic Center of Victoria, Texas, and founded two Islamic and Arabic schools, Iman Stems and the Muslim Generation; he has taught at Al-Azhar University, Shariah Academy and a college in London, and has accumulated hundreds of live broadcasting hours on Egyptian, Arabic and American television stations. 2
Positions and faith
This section should be read as a presentation of what the sources give, not as a verdict of the museum.
Huda TV's profile gives his doctorate in Comparative Fiqh and his Al-Azhar degrees; the Muslim Central biography gives his posts. 1 2 A degree subject, an Azhar education and institutional posts are not a school attestation — fiqh studied comparatively is a discipline, not a personal madhhab — and no source consulted names a legal school for him personally, so no faith value is recorded for him.
