Life and work
He memorised the Qur'an at Gakhar Mandi and completed the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum in Karachi and Faisalabad, studying Qur'anic exegesis under Muhammad Sarfaraz Khan Safdar at Jamia Nusrat-ul-Uloom in Gujranwala.1 English Wikipedia records that he also studied at Jamia Binoria in Karachi and was a disciple of the Sufi scholar Azizur Rahman Hazarvi, who granted him khilafat in 2014.2 He heads the Markaz Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat in Sargodha, where he serves as Shaykh al-Hadith and administrator, and he founded the Aalami Markaz Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat in the same city.12 He is also named as amir of the Aalmi Ittihad Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat.1 Admirers know him by the honorific Mutakallim-i Islam, "the theologian of Islam".2
He is the Director and chief executive of Ahnaf Media Services, the media service that publishes his lessons and sermons.21 His published works include Ji han Fiqah-i Hanafi Quran va Hadis ka nachor hai (2014), written in defence of the Hanafi school, and the Duroos-e-Quran lessons are listed among his notable works.2
