Overview

Marzuq Abu al-Khasib, a client of Khazim ibn Khuzayma, and the Palace of al-Khasib in Kufa is attributed to him. 1

The stratagem of Tabaristan

The museum's data say that he devised a stratagem against al-Mansur's conquest of Tabaristan, and this is the stratagem of Marzuq with the Ispahbadh. Two commanders struck him and shaved his head and beard, and he claimed to the Ispahbadh that they had wronged him, and fled to him. 1

The Ispahbadh trusted him, and he guided him to the weak points of the Arabs, and devised a way to the gate until the Muslims took the city. 1
