Norris won his first car-racing title in the 2015 MSA Formula Championship with Carlin, then won the Toyota Racing Series, the Formula Renault Eurocup and the Formula Renault NEC in 2016, receiving the Autosport BRDC Award that year. 1 He won the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2017 and finished runner-up in the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2018, both with Carlin. 1 A member of the McLaren Young Driver Programme since 2017, he made his Formula One debut at the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, took his maiden podium at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix and his maiden pole position at the 2021 Russian Grand Prix. 1 In 2024 he achieved his maiden win at the Miami Grand Prix and finished runner-up in the World Drivers' Championship; in 2025 he took seven further victories, including his home race in Britain, to win his maiden title. 1
