    Summary

Khalid Yusuf al-Juhaim is a Saudi Qur'an reciter, the owner of a YouTube channel specialising in Qur'an recitations and his own recordings from the Ramadan night prayers. 1

The channel presents itself as devoted to Qur'an recitations and the recordings of 'Sheikh Dr. Khalid Yusuf al-Juhaim'; complete-surah recitations from the Ramadan prayers of 1443–1447 AH and a 'Fajriyyat' series from the dawn prayers have been uploaded to it. 1

No source available to the museum publishes his birth date, birthplace or a biography beyond what the channel itself presents, so nothing beyond what the channel establishes is recorded here. 1

    Career

His identity is established from the channel itself, which specialises in his recitations and recordings; it carries recitations from the audible night prayers of Ramadan in 1443, 1444, 1445, 1446 and 1447 AH, among them a recitation of Surat Aal-e-Imran from the Tarawih prayer and recordings of the surahs Hud, Yusuf, al-Kahf, Maryam and al-Hijr from night prayers. 1

The channel also carries a 'Fajriyyat' series from the Fajr prayers and a recording of the Isha prayer from Masjid al-Zayr in the presence of the imams and sheikhs of the Haram, recordings in which the imamate and recitation are his. 1

    Works

His published output on the channel is an in-progress tartil mushaf of complete-surah recitations, Ramadan recording series and Fajr recitation collections arranged by Hijri year. 1

There is no published biography of him in an encyclopedia or bibliographic source; the channel itself is relied on here as the primary source for his identity and work only. 1

    Positions and criticism

This section sets out what the sources report; it is not a verdict by the museum.

The museum found no source stating any creedal, juristic or movement affiliation for the channel's owner, so it assigns him no school and no orientation; the channel's own presentation speaks only of recitation and recording. 1

A similar name invites confusion: Dr. Khalid ibn Uthman al-Sabt, a professor of tafsir and Qur'anic sciences, has a widely circulated biography online; he is a different person from the channel's owner, and the museum verified that the biographies published under that name and description do not concern Khalid al-Juhaim. 1
