    Education and work

He attained a degree in Religious Studies at the University of Toronto and later an MA in Usul al-Fiqh from Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia. 1 He hosts The Hindy Project Podcast, in which he interviews imams and scholars, and co-hosts Yaqeen Institute's Sincerely Yours talk show. 3 In April 2017 the National Council of Canadian Muslims named him among the local imams targeted by violent threats linked to a campaign against school prayers in Peel, and quoted his call for all Canadians to stand together against hatred. 2

    Positions and faith

Read this section as the report of the sources, not as a museum ruling.

No consulted source names a legal school or theological affiliation for him personally; his master's field, Usul al-Fiqh, is the principles of jurisprudence, a field of study rather than a school affiliation. His faith is therefore recorded as unknown. 1 3
